    • Men's Bible Study  (Tuesday Mornings 7:30 a.m.)

    • The mens bible study meets at Hardees for breakfast each Tuesday morning at 7:30 A.M. to read the word of God, pray, and share their thoughts and feelings on what God is doing in their lives. 

    • Adult Bible Study and Possibility Kids 

    • Adult Bible Study

      Adult Bible study is held on Wednesday nights beginning at 6:15 pm in the Adult Sunday School Room for both men and women. Topics of study vary with each lesson, but are always bible based, and deal with issues that are relevant to the happenings in our lives today!

      Possibility Kids Program

              We have a very active youth and children’s ministry as well.

      Kids/Youth meet Wednesday form 5:30-7:15 pm for Possibility Kids. Classes range form pre-K thru High School age. Kids who attend are involved in a supper, large group singing, Bible stories, as well as grade level learning. Lessons include Bible verse memorization, understanding how Gods word applies to our lives, playing games, and earning points for prizes throughout the year. They also meet for fun events like bowling, lock-ins, softball, retreats/mission outreach (dates and times of events per director). Other activities include Christmas and Easter Program participation!

      We do serve a light supper for all Possibility Kids youth and any adult who wishes to attend Bible study. Supper is served from 5:30 to 6:00 pm.

    • Radio Ministry

      The First Baptist Church radio ministry is broadcast where available on KGLO radio AM1300 every Sunday morning at 7:15 am. You will hear the preaching and teaching of Pastor James Bringman as he shares the Bible based message.


    • Women's Bible Study  (Thursday Mornings 8:00 a.m.)

    • The women's breakfast meets every Thursday morning at 8:00 am to read and discuss the Bible and pray for various concerns on their hearts and minds.

    • Women's Ministry

    • The women are part of the American Baptist Women’s Fellowship, and are involved in missions outreach locally, state, nationally, and worldwide. We sponsor several missionaries overseas, and help with White Cross, and other mission projects. The women also meet monthly in Priscilla Circle for fellowship Bible study and host several gathering throughout the year such as the May Breakfast, Mother/Daughter Banquet and the Holiday Tea.

    • Senior Ministry

    • We provide our seniors with many opportunities to get together in a social setting with outings to various restaurants and site seeing tours in towns around the area.

    • Bus Ministry

    • We are fortunate to have a church bus. We provide a bus ministry to go out and pick up kids/adults throughout the city for Wednesday night bible studies and Sunday morning worship as well. (For more information on bus travel please call ahead)

    • Ministry to Shut-Ins

    • We also provide support to our shut-ins, (those who are unable to attend services at the church for many reasons) through prayers, home/care facility visits, with caroling and calling during special times throughout the year.
